Legazpi, Albay : Went to Albay Legazpi City.
Sun was up and Mt. Mayon wasn't shy that day.
These are the waypoints from Manila, Cubao to Legazpi City. Travel time was 12 hours from 6:30pm to 6:30am with 2 stopovers at Candelaria (Chowking) and Naga City, it was very hard to identify landmarks on the waypoints taken due to the light conditions so I had to base my waypoints on time. Best way to view the coordinates would be to plot it on google earth or click the "Map This!" icon on the right ;)

Cagsawa ruins, if it weren't for the tourists frequenting the site if would have been eerie. Place was peaceful and quite but then you see Mayon massive and towering over the landscape. Cloud covered peak and smoke from hot rocks tumbling from its slope, what an awesome sight. At dusk, seeing the red hot glow of Mayon's peak is surreal. At night, the glow seems to have a life of its own. It was so dark you could not even see the outline of Mt. Mayon just the glow and lava trail of hot rocks cascading down its slope.
